The Costa Rica Convention Center (CCCR) is consolidating its position as a world-class host by being one of the main venues for FIEXPO Latin America 2025, the most important meeting tourism event in Latin America. This event will bring together international buyers and exhibitors and will showcase how we lead with sustainability, innovation, and operational excellence.

An emissions-neutral event from Costa Rica to the world.
FIEXPO 2025 will mark a milestone as an event with zero operational emissions, thanks to the implementation of CarbonClear Events©, a pioneering and exclusive methodology developed by Grupo Heroica, the venue operator. This tool measures, mitigates, and neutralizes operational emissions, from assembly to the departure of the last visitor, positioning Costa Rica as a global leader in the organization of responsible events.

“Our proposal to the world stems from a genuine commitment to a different way of doing things. From Costa Rica, we want to demonstrate that it is possible to organize events with a high economic and social impact without renouncing environmental responsibility. We don't speak from perfection, but from continuous action, constant improvement, and profound respect for climate commitments. At FIEXPO, more than showcasing a venue, we will showcase a vision: how to lead from coherence, how to advance through collaboration, and how to inspire the world through an operating model that puts sustainability at the center of the experience,” said Álvaro Rojas, general manager of CCCR.

Mindful Bites: The Gastronomy of the Future Is Born in Costa Rica
As part of the innovations that will accompany this international event, the CCCR is launching Mindful Bites by Heroica, a pioneering culinary offering in Latin America. Designed to nourish body, mind, and soul, this experience replaces traditional coffee breaks with functional menus featuring local ingredients and a low environmental impact.

85% of the ingredients are Costa Rican.
Each menu is carbon neutral.
Breaks are transformed into themed experiences: "Leadership Breaks," "Evening Calm," or "Energy Boost."
No processed foods or added sugars.

“Eating well also communicates who we are. Mindful Bites is the evolution of our sustainable and healthy cuisine into a holistic wellness experience, with intention, flavor, and respect for the environment. At FIEXPO 2025, our visitors will be the first to experience this,” Rojas said.

Multisensory activations for a complete experience
At FIEXPO 2025, the CCCR will also offer a series of activations that redefine the way events are held:
Aromas with a Purpose: olfactory ambiance and relaxing music in bathrooms, in partnership with the Costa Rican brand Aromas.
Wellness Zone: space for massages, mindfulness, and relaxation, for after work sessions.
Interactive Totem with AI: international visitors will be able to learn more about Costa Rica by interacting with a Totem programmed with artificial intelligence to provide information on culture, tourist destinations, and sustainability in real time.
Strengthened Waste Management: with active education for attendees and a reduction in environmental impact.

“Epicentro”: New Podcast Room for the Legacy of Knowledge
During FIEXPO, the new “Epicentro” podcast room will be inaugurated, a permanent space that will allow content to be recorded and shared from the Convention Center itself. This room seeks to become a knowledge-generating hub, available for future national and international events. FIEXPO 2025 is a milestone for meeting tourism in Latin America and demonstrates Costa Rica's potential to organize events with a global impact from a conscious perspective.
