The event concluded this week at the Costa Rica Convention Center after four highly productive days. A total of 1,815 people participated, including exhibitors, buyers, and press, representing 87 destinations in Latin America, as well as Spain and the Caribbean.

Throughout the event, 12,774 meetings were held, figures that—even considering the minimum average of 18 meetings per exhibitor—demonstrate the intensity of the networking process. The most moving aspect of the closing ceremony was the announcement of US$660 million in negotiations, a figure that demonstrates the real impact of this platform.

An ideal finale for FIEXPO 2025: a moving message thanking Costa Rica —“country of pure life”— and all the delegations, highlighting the shared mission of promoting social and economic development and regional equity.

The academic framework consolidated its relevance with key forums such as:

Event Impact Forum: People & Planet (focused on sustainability, neuroinclusion, and waste reduction).

AI Certifications for MICE and the SITE CIS program.

Meetings such as the Next Generation Summit, the Convention Bureau Challenge, the Business Owners Conclave, and the 12th Latin American Political Forum, connecting regional leaders with policy decisions for meeting tourism.

Why was it a memorable closing?

Volume and diversity: 87 destinations, 1,815 participants, and thousands of meetings reflect a robust and segmented agenda.

Real economy: US$660 million in projected negotiations speak of tangible results.

Shared vision: The event's closing session highlighted the event's role as an engine of social development, with messages of unity and gratitude toward the communities.

Academic legacy: The inclusion of sustainability, AI, and professional training marks a new era in meeting tourism.
