IPW 2025 in Chicago: America dresses up for the international tourism industry

From June 14th to 18th, Chicago will be the epicenter of tourism, hosting the main inbound travel exhibition in the USA, where more than 6,000 professionals from more than 70 countries will meet in 100,000 business appointments, in a setting that combines B2B meetings, iconic cultural activities and local experiences

IPW, organized by the US Travel Association, kicks off on Saturday, June 14, at McCormick Place in Chicago and runs through Wednesday, June 18. This event is the premier showcase for inbound travel in the United States, bringing together more than 1,000 US travel organizations, approximately 1,300 international buyers, and 500 journalists.

Over five days the following will take place:

100,000+ pre-arranged appointments between exhibitors and buyers, offering an efficient platform for generating business opportunities.

An agenda that combines educational sessions, networking, and cultural and entertainment activities.

Event Highlights:

Saturday the 14th and Sunday the 15th: Registration, booth setup, and destination experiences for buyers and press, including a press brunch at historic Wrigley Field.

Sunday night: Kickoff celebration with "Chicago's House Party 2.0" at the Field Museum, featuring music, art, local cuisine, and a silent disco.

Monday the 16th: Lunches organized by Brand USA (including the presentation of the 2026 campaign) and “Magnificent Mile Monday,” a nighttime tour of the iconic avenue.

Tuesday the 17th: The “Broadway Inbound NYC” luncheon connects the New York cultural experience with Chicago.

Wednesday the 18th: The grand closing party at Navy Pier, celebrating the beginning of Route 66, with immersive activations, food, and lake views.
