What are your impressions after these days at FIEXPO?
Super positive. It's a very pleasant, friendly fair, with a relaxed pace that allows for focused work, a good product showcase, and a wealth of business opportunities. We noticed a lot of interest in our offering.
What countries were the meeting planners who visited you from?
Mainly from Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina and Uruguay.
Which destinations or properties generated the most interest?
Brazil and the Caribbean, especially Mexico and Punta Cana.
To what do you attribute this focus in these destinations?
We have an excellent selection of convention centers, and many organizers are looking for venues that can offer both meeting space and leisure and relaxation options, all within the same facility. That's what sets us apart.
How would you describe the current state of the MICE segment within Palladium?
It's very dynamic. We're doing very well in Latin America this year, and we have a promising outlook for the second half of the year. We've been working hard since last year, with a consolidated sales and operations team in each destination, with great synergy and communication. This gives us a competitive advantage, along with personalized service.
Although hotels are large, what challenges does that present?
Yes, demand can be complex. Many factors, such as availability, rates, and season, influence this, and not all of them are under our control. We're always looking for alternatives: if not today, it will be tomorrow. The doors are open.
How does Palladium's promotional plan continue this year?
In addition to international trade shows, we are actively working locally in countries such as Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay. We connect with industry players, organize events and visits, and assist agencies with whatever they need. We want to make the product accessible and work together as partners.
What is the experience of holding an event at a Palladium hotel?
Our motto is " Where business meets fun ," and that says it all. From the start, there's a private reception, cocktails, and dinners in unique settings like the beach or gardens. We have vendors who help personalize each experience. The rooms are very comfortable, with a Jacuzzi, balcony, minibar, and all kinds of amenities.
There are also nightly shows, spaces for personal connection such as spas and wellness activities, as well as a wide variety of international cuisine. A group staying for three or four days will not only have fun, but will also be able to motivate themselves, relax, connect with their colleagues, and achieve the event's objectives.
