Mexico City, June 17, 2025 – United Airlines announced the addition of two new nonstop international routes from Denver, Colorado, to Mexico City, Mexico, and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, scheduled to begin operations on October 26, 2025. This expansion strengthens the airline's presence in Latin America and the Caribbean, consolidating Denver as a strategic hub within its global network.
The new route to Mexico City will operate daily as a seasonal service during the winter, while the flight to Punta Cana will operate daily year-round. Tickets are now available for purchase.
Flights from Denver to Mexico City will depart at 6:00 PM, with an estimated arrival time of 10:30 PM, while the return flight from Mexico City to Denver will launch on October 27, departing at 9:05 AM and arriving at 11:55 AM. As for Punta Cana, service from Denver will depart at 9:45 AM and arrive at 6:18 PM, and the return flight from the Dominican Republic will depart at 2:05 PM, arriving at 5:50 PM.
With these new routes, United will operate flights to a total of 13 destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean from Denver this winter, tripling its capacity in the region compared to 2019. Current service from this hub includes services to Cancún, Cozumel, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas in Mexico; Montego Bay in Jamaica; Nassau in the Bahamas; San Juan in Puerto Rico; Belize City in Belize; Liberia and San José in Costa Rica; and Roatán in Honduras.
United's expansion in the region has been sustained throughout 2025. In February, the airline launched a weekly flight from Newark to Dominica; in April, it became the first airline to connect the United States with Puerto Escondido, Mexico, from Houston, with a frequency that will increase to three weekly flights in October; and in May, new daily flights were added from San Francisco to San José, Costa Rica, and Panama City, Panama.
These additions are part of United Airlines' ongoing commitment to connecting the world, offering passengers more choice and travel flexibility, while strengthening its network in strategic markets in Latin America and the Caribbean.
