How was United Parks & Resorts' participation in this edition of IPW?
We're thrilled to be back at IPW, this time in Chicago, with a completely renovated booth that reflects the magic and fantasy of our parks. It's more modern and eye-catching, perfect for conveying what we offer. We're also bringing many important new features that strengthen our offering.
What new experiences are being introduced in the parks?
At SeaWorld, we recently opened Expedition Odyssey, a unique attraction that combines cutting-edge technology with lifelike images and close-up animal encounters. It's a simulator that transports you to the Arctic: you can feel the cold, the scents, and see the animals in a completely immersive environment. We're also showcasing the largest emperor penguin exhibit in the Western Hemisphere, a true pride.
At Aquatica, we're launching Aqua Globe, a summer water party with music, perfect for the whole family. It costs extra, but offers a unique experience.
And at Busch Gardens, we opened Wild Oasis, one of the most immersive family attractions in North America. It features a four-level climbing structure, a 200-foot aerial walkway, children's water features, an interactive scavenger hunt, and an area featuring new species like capybaras and anteaters. It's designed to engage all the senses, educate, and inspire.
Are there any plans for future expansion or investment?
Yes, we just announced a $40 million investment for a complete renovation of Busch Gardens. We're also continuing to develop new attractions that will be unveiled soon. We're always working to innovate and enhance our guests' experience.
Who are part of the delegation at IPW?
We're joined by an international team with representatives from the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and various Latin American countries. This is a perfect opportunity to strengthen ties with strategic markets and continue positioning our parks as must-see destinations.
What additional benefits are you promoting for visitors?
We want to highlight our dining plan, which is truly competitive. Unlike others, ours allows you to eat every 90 minutes at any of the participating restaurants. There are eight at SeaWorld, nine at Busch Gardens, and five at Aquatica. For less than $200, guests can enjoy an appetizer, main course, dessert, and drink several times a day—ideal for those traveling with children or teenagers.
