Hyperdeck: Mission Moon
is one of the newest and most exciting additions to the visitor complex. Developed by Major Mega, this virtual reality attraction takes up to eight players simultaneously on a mission to the Moon. Equipped with VR headsets, visitors climb aboard a simulated “spaceship” departing from Launch Complex 39.
Virtual Reality Experience Inside a Replica of the Blue Origin New Shepard Crew Capsule
An immersive virtual reality experience inside a replica of the Blue Origin New Shepard crew capsule, using real data and imagery to authentically mimic a rocket’s journey above the Kármán Line, the internationally recognized frontier of space.
Heroes and Legends Featuring the US Astronaut Hall of Fame® presented by Boeing®
Embark on a journey back in time to celebrate the pioneers of NASA’s space program. This space pays tribute to those who inspired an entire nation to reach for the stars. Explore the US Astronaut Hall of Fame®, which honors the astronauts who made space exploration possible.
Rocket Garden
Here, visitors can walk among giants and marvel at the nine mostly original rockets used in the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs. Replicas of the capsules from these iconic NASA programs feature seating and informative graphics. Guided tours offer an even deeper look, allowing an up-close appreciation of the human ingenuity behind these artifacts.

Have you ever dreamed of meeting a space hero? At the Universe Theater, you can meet a veteran NASA astronaut in person and hear firsthand their fascinating stories, what they've experienced in space travel, and what it's really like to live and work in space.
Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex®:
Focused on the present and future of collaborative space exploration, visiting will let you experience the interstellar travel of tomorrow while discovering everything that's happening right now within the space program. See authentic spacecraft, futuristic prototypes, and immersive displays from NASA and its commercial partners.
Apollo/Saturn V Center
This area commemorates the historic Apollo 11 moon landing with a variety of attractions. From the Moon Scape, where visitors can see the authentic Lunar Module 9 in a life-size representation of the moon landing, to the Lunar Theater, where the final minutes before the first words spoken from the lunar surface are recreated.
Space Shuttle Atlantis®
Get up close and personal with the Space Shuttle Atlantis, presented in a unique flight-simulating pose. With more than 60 interactive touchscreen exhibits and high-tech simulators, it invites visitors of all ages to "be an astronaut." Take a virtual spacewalk, connect with the International Space Station (ISS), and slide down the re-entry slide. Also, experience the Shuttle Launch Experience®, where you'll experience the thrills of a space launch in a realistic simulation of a space shuttle launch.
Planet Play
This fully immersive, multi-story play experience, designed for the younger generation of space explorers ages 2 to 12, is an interactive indoor area where children play on the planets. They'll have fun mapping a constellation, climbing a wormhole, walking on Saturn's rings, and gliding through an asteroid field.
