Ryan Forde, CEO of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association, presented a detailed report on the current state of the island's tourism infrastructure, while Leroy Browne, general manager of the Wyndham Grand Barbados Sam Lord's Castle Resort, welcomed the event delegates and presented the features of his property, highlighting its infrastructure and services.
BTMI emphasized its full confidence in the growth of the Latin American outbound market, which it considers key to the diversification and consolidation of tourism in Barbados.
Connect Barbados 2025 brings together travel agencies and tour operators from around the world, along with local entrepreneurs—including renowned hoteliers—who will showcase their products and services. The event will run until June 26, with an agenda that includes business roundtables, technical visits, and networking activities, consolidating Barbados as an essential connection point between the Caribbean and global markets.
