As part of IATA's Wings of Change Americas program, which will arrive in Bogotá on June 25 and 26, Avianca announces the consolidation of its Business Class offering in the region, reaching coverage of more than 80 international routes with this cabin. This expansion allows the airline's customers access to a unique experience that combines comfort, preferential attention, and onboard service designed for flights within the Americas on Airbus A320 aircraft.
"A year ago, we brought back the Business Class experience on 11 routes, serving flights within the Americas from Bogotá. The response from our passengers was immediate, and that's why we added 23 more routes in December. Today, I'm very happy because we will expand this service to all our international routes from Bogotá, Medellín, and San Salvador. Thanks to the more than 500,000 customers who have placed their trust in our Business Class product, and also to the teams that made it possible," said Frederico Pedreira, CEO of Avianca. "This undoubtedly demonstrates that we listen to our customers and have a flexible model to meet the needs of each segment, because at Avianca, the sky belongs to everyone," he added.
The Americas Business Class experience includes access to premium seats, with reclining seats and more space in the first three rows of the aircraft, charging ports, access to the Avianca in-air entertainment system from mobile devices, and a fare that includes one personal item, one carry-on bag up to 10 kg (22 lbs), and two pieces of baggage weighing 32 kg (70 lbs) each. It also offers exclusive benefits such as pre-flight changes and refunds, priority services (check-in, baggage delivery and reception, and boarding), access to Avianca Lounges, and the accrual of 10 Lifemiles for every dollar.
Tickets for routes that include the Business Class cabin will be available for purchase now at avianca.com, the Contact Center, the mobile app, and travel agencies.
