Meliá Hotels International consolidates its position as the tourism company with the best reputation

Meliá Hotels International has been recognized, for the thirteenth consecutive year, as the tourism company with the best reputation in Spain, according to the Merco Empresas 2025 ranking, consolidating its sector leadership. Furthermore, the company has climbed one position in the overall ranking, ranking 21st among the 200 companies with the best reputation in the country.

In this 25th edition, just released, Merco (Corporate Reputation Business Monitor) has strengthened its methodological foundation with an exhaustive analysis that includes six evaluations, 25 sources of information, and a total of 62,410 surveys. This is the only corporate reputation study in the world subject to independent review by KPMG in accordance with the ISAE 3000 standard, which guarantees its rigor and transparency.

In addition to its recognition in Merco Empresas, it also leads the sector rankings in Merco ESG Responsibility and Merco Talent, positioning it as the most sustainable and attractive hotel company to work for in Spain.

For his part, Gabriel Escarrer, president and CEO of , has once again been recognized as the most reputable leader in the tourism sector, moving up three positions to 25th in the Merco Leaders 2025 ranking.
