What are your expectations for hosting this incredible exhibition?

We have a tremendous opportunity. We have more than 40 partners from around the world, an excellent culinary team, and a behind-the-scenes team that executes events like this flawlessly. We're very confident that this week will be a huge success.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to host Connect 2025 and collaborate with BTMI. We expect this event to be memorable and look forward to hosting it again next year.

Tell us some details about this property, which is huge and incredible.

The resort has 422 rooms and a variety of dining options. We have a beautiful beach area for those who want to relax and dine oceanfront.

We have six pools, a very attractive spa, and, to my knowledge, we're the only hotel with a hookah and cigar lounge where we serve tapas. There's also the Castle View restaurant and the Rum Cast Bar, which offers rums from around the world. It's a must-visit for those who enjoy a good premium rum and a social atmosphere.

What entertainment and dining options does the area around the hotel offer?

There are several lovely restaurants in the surrounding area that support us very well. Many guests dine out from time to time, although they very much enjoy the food we produce here.

I previously mentioned our butler service, which has received excellent reviews and is highly recommended by those who experience it.

What type of guests do you receive at the hotel?

We have a great mix: families, honeymooners, older travelers, people who have stayed at the former St. Lawrence Castle and are returning to experience the renovation, single travelers, business people, and conference and event attendees. We cater to virtually every niche.

Wyndham is one of the largest hotel chains in the world. What are its main markets?

We primarily receive guests from the United States and Canada. There's also an increase in visitors from the United Kingdom.

In addition, we have many guests from the Caribbean and numerous Barbados residents who enjoy the hotel as staycations. Many return several times a year.

What difference or local touch does the hotel offer to visitors?

Many Barbadians who visit the hotel feel like they've truly stepped away from the island and are in a completely different place. It's a truly magical experience.
