Copa Airlines, a subsidiary of Copa Holdings, SA and a member of the global airline network Star Alliance, inaugurated its new route to and from San Diego, California, United States. With this addition, the airline expands its network in this country, strengthening its presence on the West Coast and facilitating connectivity between Latin America and Southern California through the Hub of the Americas®, located in Panama City.

Flight CM847 to San Diego operates four weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, departing from Tocumen International Airport in Panama City at 1:16 p.m. (local time) and arriving at San Diego International Airport at 5:54 p.m. (local time). The return flight, CM850, departs on the same days from San Diego at 9:06 p.m. (local time), landing in Panama City at 5:20 a.m. (local time) the following day.
San Diego, located in the southern region of California, is known for its cultural diversity, tourist attractions, and economic importance. Its main attractions include Coronado Beach, La Jolla Cove, and the San Diego Zoo, as well as historical and cultural sites such as Old Town San Diego State Historic Park.
