Guatemala and El Salvador bring together 50 companies for binational tourism exchange

Tourism business leaders from both countries met at the Camino Real Antigua Hotel for a binational business meeting, with the aim of expanding collaboration opportunities, fostering strategic alliances, and promoting regional integration

The event brought together prominent Salvadoran companies such as Acantilados, Cuzca Tours Centroamérica, Eco Suites El Zonte, El Salvador Aventuras, Ernesto Mochilero, Hotel Suites Las Palmas, Ipan Noya, Línea Ejecutiva, Litos Hotel and Restaurant, Lucrecia Acosta Meetings, Mayan Escapes, Papayas Lodge, Puro Surf Hotel + Performance Academy, and Tropic Turismo, among others.

On behalf of Guatemala, companies such as Direct Adventure Guatemala, CA Travelers, Mundo Spanish School, Finca San Cayetano (Grupo RRD), Soleil Antigua, Simoon Tours, Old Town, Porta Hotels, Sin Fronteras Viajes y Turismo, Grupo Alta - Villa Bokeh, Cocori Lodge, Correcaminos SA, Pappys BBQ, Adra Hostel, Experience Markers Antigua and Aventulust participated, sharing their offerings with the aim of establishing alliances that promote multi-destination tourism in the region.

This meeting takes on special significance as it takes place in the context of the launch of the new direct connection between two jewels of Central American tourism: Antigua, Guatemala, and Surf City, El Salvador, through the Central America Shuttle, a route designed to facilitate safe, efficient, and direct transportation between these two iconic destinations.

The business roundtable was jointly organized by the Salvadoran Chamber of Tourism (CASATUR) and the Guatemalan Chamber of Tourism (CAMTUR), with the support of the Ministry of Tourism of El Salvador (MITUR), the Guatemalan Tourism Institute (INGUAT), and the Central American Tourism Promotion Agency (CATA).

With this initiative, Central America reaffirms its commitment to moving forward as a united, connected region, ready to welcome the world with authentic, sustainable, and deeply human experiences.
