Following its successful debut in 2024, the GFNY Bahamas Cycling Race returns to Nassau next Sunday, November 9, 2025, for its second edition, starting and finishing at Goodman's Bay Park. The event, which brings together cyclists from around the world, offers two scenic routes that highlight the natural beauty, culture, and idyllic landscapes of New Providence Island (Nassau).
In its first edition, the race attracted more than 145 athletes from countries such as Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Spain, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, and, of course, the Bahamas. This year, the number of participants is expected to exceed that number, consolidating the GFNY Bahamas as one of the most attractive cycling events in the Caribbean.
Two routes, one meeting point
Both courses—the 53km medium route and the 98km long route—start and finish in Goodman's Bay, which will also host the pre-race Expo, awards ceremony, children's activities, DJ entertainment, and a special presentation of Junkanoo, the traditional Bahamian festival.
