Within the framework of this event, Travel2latam spoke with Alejandro Flores, Head of Sales and Travel Industry Marketing for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.

What does this event represent for Disney and why did they choose Buenos Aires as its venue?

Magical Moments is part of our commitment to be present, at least once a year, near travel agents in Argentina. We want to keep them updated with the latest news about our destinations, but also offer them a bit of Disney magic in a different, lighthearted format, with characters and great musical acts. Argentina has always been a very important market for us.

How do you see the recovery of the Argentine market?

The recovery has been incredible. Argentina is becoming one of Disney's most important markets in Latin America this year. This is due, on the one hand, to the natural affinity the Argentine public has with our products, but also to the great work of travel agents who communicate our offering and bring it to customers.

The event was very well attended. How many people attended?

Yes, it was a very well-attended event. We had around 250 people in attendance. We always have a great turnout in Argentina, and that speaks to the strong connection we have with our select operators and retail agents. It's important to note that these types of events have limited capacity, so we always recommend contacting Disney-authorized operators to secure a spot.

What new developments were presented during the day?

We're sharing updates on Disney Cruise Line, including its expansion and new shows like Disney Billions, Unfairly Ever After, and the new Disney Starlight Parade. We're also showcasing upcoming areas, such as a Monsters, Inc. land at Hollywood Studios and Tropical Americas, a new section at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. We're also providing tools for agents to help guide their clients in planning the perfect vacation.

What plans do you have for the rest of the year in the region?

The tour continues with the same event in Santiago, Chile, then on to Mexico City, São Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro. We will also participate in important trade shows such as FIT in Argentina and other trade shows in Brazil. We are also strengthening our presence in each country with our sales managers: Julieta De Gracia in Argentina, Alexander Haim in Brazil, and myself, Alejandro Flores, in Mexico. The plan is to continue supporting agents throughout Latin America.
