Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino is pleased to announce that Raymond Habibe has been appointed as the new property manager. Raymond brings a wealth of experience and a passion for excellence to the team. His leadership and dedication to delivering an exceptional guest experience will undoubtedly elevate the resort to new heights.
Raymond began his career in 1995 as Assistant Director of Controlling for the opening of the Aruba Marriott and was the inaugural Operations Controller for the Marriott Aruba Ocean Club. He also held financial leadership positions at the Curacao Marriott & Casino and the Renaissance Aruba Casino.
In 2010, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of the former Radisson Aruba (now Hilton Aruba), overseeing daily operations. Raymond was part of the implementation team for the resort's complete guestroom renovation, as well as leading the acquisition and rebranding of the resort's casino operations.
Raymond returned to the Aruba Marriott in 2015 as the resort's Chief Financial Officer. During this time, he improved regulatory compliance, strengthened anti-money laundering (AML) discipline, and boosted the financial performance of the Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, the Aruba Ocean Club, and the Surf Club. He has a keen eye for talent and has developed numerous employees into supervisory, management, and leadership roles.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the State University of New York and a Master of Business Administration degree from the New York Institute of Technology.
