The Fuegian Tourism Institute continues working on positioning the End of the World destination, in this particular case with the winter season and the National Winter Festival, to bring this celebration of ice and snow closer to priority markets for our province. Thus, we managed to obtain the distinction of "Ushuaia" as a "featured destination for the month of July 2025" in Colombia from Aerolíneas Argentinas at its headquarters.

In response, INFUETUR President Dante Querciali presented this initiative, which "promotes our province but, above all, our National Winter Festival, which we will hold from July 4th to 13th, with the main event centered on July 9th with the traditional torch relay at the Cerro Castor Ski Center."

"We are doing a very important promotional and communications effort related to our strong suit, the winter season, which kicks off with this unique event that brings together the public and private sectors, working together to position the destination through this National Holiday," the official emphasized.

He also emphasized that the name Ushuaia can be made visible in the Colombian market: "It speaks of a projected work, that is to say, it is not something random. In February we were part of the ANATO 2025 International Tourism Fair in Colombia, showcasing tourist attractions and connecting with wholesale operators. Therefore, we have been positioning and thinking profitably about these large events that attract multitudes of the sector to position our product, which is winter with our National Festival.

"This is extremely beneficial and we proudly announce it with the work we have been doing with the National Winter Festival, an event that covers the entire province and that has been growing year after year, where more and more providers join, municipalities are increasingly involved, and public and private collaboration continues to strengthen in something that is beneficial for everyone as a province and as a destination," Querciali concluded.

It is worth mentioning that the Tourism Promotion Directorate, through its Tourism Marketing area, has been working on positioning Ushuaia. The "End of the World" brand is used in the communication campaigns carried out by the National Institute for Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR) in the Colombian market and in various international destinations.
