In this way, the distinction of “Ushuaia” as a “featured destination for the month of July 2025” in that country was managed with Aerolíneas Argentinas at its headquarters in Colombia.
In light of this, the president of INFUETUR, Dante Querciali, celebrated this action that “promotes our province but above all our National Winter Festival that we will carry out from July 4 to 13, focusing on the main event on July 9 with the traditional torch descent at the Cerro Castor Ski Center.”
“We are doing a very important promotional and communication work in relation to our strong point, which is the winter season, which begins with this unique event that brings together the public and private sectors working together to position the destination through this National Festival,” highlighted the official.
He also emphasized the importance of raising the profile of Ushuaia in the Colombian market: "It speaks to the work we've been doing, which is not a coincidence. In February, we participated in the ANATO 2025 International Tourism Fair in Colombia, showcasing our tourist attractions and connecting with wholesale operators. We're therefore positioning and thinking about these major events, which attract large numbers of visitors from the sector, in order to promote our winter product with our National Festival.
"This is extremely beneficial, and we proudly present it with the work we've been doing with the National Winter Festival, an event that covers the entire province and has been growing year after year. More and more providers are joining, municipalities are getting more and more involved, and public and private partners are continuing to strengthen their partnership, which is beneficial for everyone, both as a province and as a destination," Querciali concluded.
It's worth mentioning that the Tourism Promotion Department, through its Tourism Marketing department, has been working on brand positioning. "End of the World" is featured in the communication campaigns carried out by the National Institute for Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR) in the Colombian market and in various international destinations.
