How would you describe the experience a family can have in Mendoza during the winter, combining luxury, relaxation, and adventure?

While Mendoza is a year-round destination, winter has unique characteristics. The snow transforms the landscape and paints it white, creating an unforgettable contrast with the colors of other seasons. The sun, characteristic of our province, shines brightly during midday and afternoon, creating memorable moments.

Mendoza's cuisine adapts to the low temperatures, evoking warm, homey flavors, while our wines provide a perfect pairing. Accommodations such as lodges and five-star hotels allow you to relax and organize activities in mountain parks like Los Puquios or Real del Pehuenche, as well as in ski resorts like El Azufre and Las Leñas. Everything is within reach: hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and recreational activities, always with the Andes mountain range as a backdrop.

In addition, our cities offer a vibrant nightlife, along with cultural and food offerings that complete the experience.

What are the most recommended activities for those seeking premium snow experiences?

Without a doubt, the combination of snow sports with tastings of typical Mendoza dishes and our internationally recognized wines creates a comprehensive and sophisticated experience.

How do you prepare to serve a demanding visitor seeking comfort, service, and contact with nature?

Mendoza boasts a wide range of high-end destinations: from Michelin-starred restaurants to five-star hotels from international chains and exclusive lodges immersed in breathtaking landscapes.
Our air connectivity is also a strong point, with flights arriving from hubs such as Buenos Aires, Lima, São Paulo, Campinas, Rio de Janeiro, Santiago de Chile, and Panama.

We also offer a diverse and active cultural program, with top-notch performances in the province's 18 departments, ideal for the whole family.

What strategies are you developing to position Mendoza as a high-end winter destination?

We recently launched the “Mendoza, a gentle destiny” campaign, which quickly went viral on social media and reached both national and international audiences.

We also participate in fairs both domestically and internationally, where we connect with journalists, tour operators, and potential visitors. All of these activities are carried out through Emetur, in coordination with the private sector, municipalities, and the National Government.

How would you describe the current state of tourism in the province, and what are your expectations for this season and the medium term?

Mendoza is above the national average, the result of constant work that has allowed us to reduce seasonality and attract visitors year-round. We are optimistic about the future of tourism in the province. Agencies, airlines, and tourists continue to choose us for the quality and variety of our offerings.

What initiatives related to sustainability and environmental protection are being incorporated into your winter tourism offering?

Mendoza has always had a clear vision for environmental stewardship. We are a desert turned into an oasis thanks to the work of generations of Mendoza residents. Therefore, sustainability and respect for resources are present in all our actions, regardless of the season. Each tourism development is based on environmental stewardship, reaffirming our commitment to a responsible future.
