As part of its international promotion strategy, the Nicaraguan Tourism Institute (Intur), with the support of the Nicaraguan Embassies in Honduras and El Salvador, held destination presentations: "Experience Nicaragua , Your Next Destination."
During the event, Miguel Reyes, from Intur's Promotion and Marketing Department, highlighted Nicaragua 's wide range of tourism options , characterized by its natural diversity, cultural richness, hospitality, and affordable prices. Iconic attractions such as the heritage cities of Granada and León, beaches, volcanoes, nature reserves, and the growing offering of community-based and sustainable rural tourism were promoted, with the aim of encouraging tourists to visit during the upcoming holidays.
Eight Nicaraguan tourism entrepreneurs joined this effort, promoting tour packages and participating in business meetings, where they established direct commercial alliances with professionals from the Honduran and Salvadoran tourism sectors.
This initiative is part of Nicaragua's efforts to attract more visitors from neighboring countries and consolidate its position as a leading destination in the region. It also reaffirms the country's commitment to developing sustainable and inclusive tourism.
