Barcelona, Catalunya - Ibero-América Exchange (IBX), a CoCoA H2H initiative and formerly known as CoCoA H2H Ibero-América Travel Market, announces the third edition of its signature event in Catalunya from 28-31 October 2025.
IBX brings together top-tier buyers from Spain, Portugal and Latin America with global suppliers eager to tap into the region’s surging intra-regional and outbound travel demand.
Hosted across Dolce by Wyndham Barcelona Resort, Codorníu Winery and Fosbury Castelldefels, with support from Agència Catalana de Turisme and Baix Llobregat Convention Bureau, IBX: Catalunya will welcome up to 120 delegates to engage in pre-scheduled one-toone appointments, insight-led content sessions and immersive destination experiences.
At its core is CoCoA’s Human-to-Human (H2H) format, engineered to foster high-impact connections that turn conversations into long-term partnerships.
Eugeni Serranos, general manager of Dolce by Wyndham Barcelona Resort, said “We are delighted to host the upcoming edition of IBX event at our world-class resort in Sant Esteve de Sesrovires. It is a privilege to serve as the meeting point for visionary professionals who are shaping the future of travel.”
“Supporting the Cocoa H2H initiatives aligns perfectly with Codorníu’s purpose,” added Vanessa O'Bree, wine tourism director at Raventos Codorniu. “As a winery rooted in heritage yet driven by sustainability and the art of meaningful connection, we’re honored to champion an initiative that celebrates mindful travel, creativity and the power of human stories."
The Codorníu programme will also feature Sobra, CoCoA H2H’s hospitality composting initiative, in a dedicated session at La Torre de Codorníu, the winery’s acclaimed restaurant.
David Benitez, founder and director of CoCoA H2H, said: “Ibero-America is expected to generate $260 billion over the next decade, with rising demand for both leisure and business travel within the region and beyond. Bringing the third edition of our series to Catalunya is a
meaningful milestone. It’s a destination that reflects the values at the heart of IBX: innovation, connection and a forward-thinking approach to tourism. “
Attendance is by invitation only, ensuring every participant brings significant buying power and a shared commitment to shaping the future of travel in the region. Participants will include representatives from travel agencies, tour operators, MICE specialists and boutique leisure brands.
In line with its commitment to responsible tourism, IBX will allocate a portion of event profits to support local change-makers and low-carbon initiatives, reinforcing its mission to drive not just business outcomes, but positive environmental impact
