Sernatur will award the country´s most innovative products with its Most Touristic Value 2025 contest

The tenth edition of the competition will recognize three companies that, through creativity and innovation, impact the tourist destinations where they operate. Applications are open until August 11

The National Tourism Service announced the opening of applications for a new edition of the Most Tourist Value contest, an initiative that for more than a decade has highlighted innovative tourism experiences that contribute to the sustainable development of the sector in Chile, awarding 28 products across the country since 2015.

Based on criteria of creativity and impact on destinations, this year's competition aims to recognize tourism products designed according to new consumer trends, promoting innovation, boosting the economy through diversification of offerings, integrating the destination's various stakeholders to create a comprehensive experience, and promoting sustainability.

Cristóbal Benítez, National Director of Sernatur, explained that “this competition, which in its tenth edition celebrates more than a decade highlighting the best of Chilean tourism, represents our commitment to a modern, resilient tourism industry aligned with the demands of tourists, who increasingly value authentic and responsible experiences. We want to continue inspiring entrepreneurs and business owners to develop proposals that positively transform their destinations and communities.”

Regarding the prizes the winning companies will receive, the tourism authority emphasized that "taking into account globalization and the widespread use of technology, digital marketing is the main trend in customer relations. Through social media, for example, brands reach their consumers more directly, which is why we have incorporated this component for the winners, awarding an audiovisual kit as a prize that will allow them to more effectively promote the products and experiences they offer."

How to participate and what are the prizes for the 2025 Most Touristic Value Award?
The application process will run until August 11, 2025, at 11:59 p.m., and all companies registered in Sernatur's National Registry of Tourism Service Providers are eligible to participate; that is, those that are duly formalized and have started operations in Chile.

More Tourism Value 2025 includes a two-stage evaluation. The first is a regional selection, in which the 16 best proposals will be chosen, one from each region of the country. In this phase of the competition, companies will receive advice to better prepare for their participation in the finals.

The second is a national selection, where a jury composed of authorities and experts will select the three winning tourism products after each company has presented its business in an elevator pitch competition. This competition requires companies to quickly present their product or service, with the goal of capturing attention and generating interest in a time similar to the duration of an elevator ride.

The prizes include a kit with professional videos and photographs to boost the winners' digital marketing and national dissemination through the Sernatur and Undersecretariat of Tourism platforms.
