During the first half of the year, demand for tourism activities in Argentina grew 15% compared to the same period in 2024. This growth is part of a global trend that highlights travelers' growing interest in adding specific experiences to their itineraries, seeking to make the most of their time and experience the destination in a more intense and personalized way.

According to UN Tourism, tourism experiences and activities are one of the fastest-growing segments in the sector. Recent data indicates that more than 40% of international travelers include tours, excursions, or cultural events in their plans, a trend driven by a growing demand for offerings that integrate local culture, nature, and entertainment.

Across all continents, advance planning for these activities is increasing, especially during peak season, allowing tourists to access better prices and availability. Travelers value both digital options for booking in advance and the flexibility to book experiences from their destination.

Globally, destinations in Europe, Asia, and the Americas stand out for their diverse offerings. For example, in Europe, bookings for guided tours of historical sites, local cuisine, and cultural events are increasing. In Asia, ecotourism experiences and adventures in natural spaces are on the rise. Meanwhile, in Latin America, excursions linked to nature and cultural heritage attract tourists from all over the world.

In Argentina, the destinations with the most organized experiences include Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Bariloche, and Ushuaia, with activities that combine culture, nature, and adventure. Among the most popular options are the High Mountain Tour in Mendoza, a visit to Iguazu Falls, dinner shows like Madero Tango, excursions to the Salinas Grandes, the Seven Lakes Route, and sailings through the Beagle Channel.

On the other hand, Argentines also incorporate activities into their international trips. Tickets to theme parks in Orlando, city tours in Rio de Janeiro, and excursions in Brazil and Mexico, such as Arraial do Cabo and Chichén Itzá, are some of the most popular experiences.

This evolution reflects a shift in how we think about travel: tourists are no longer focused solely on reaching a destination, but rather on experiencing it intensely through experiences that enrich every moment and foster a deeper connection with the culture and environment they visit.
