The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is organizing a new edition of its Innovation Fair on September 21 and 22, 2025, at its headquarters in Montreal.
In the run-up to its 42nd Assembly, ICAO is promoting this meeting as a key space for sharing experiences, technologies, and strategies that promote more inclusive, safe, and sustainable aviation. This year's theme focuses on how innovations can help close gaps and ensure that all countries, regardless of their level of development, have access to the benefits of air transport.
Over two days, there will be conferences, panels, and project presentations focusing on topics such as digitalization, automation, accessibility, advanced air mobility, environmental sustainability, and operational efficiency. There will also be an exhibition area featuring applied solutions and technological proposals promoted by companies, governments, and startups.
“Global Horizons: Inclusive Innovations for Aviation” reflects ICAO's commitment to its “No Country Left Behind” initiative, promoting the balanced development of the sector in all corners of the world. The event will also serve as a platform to align efforts among various stakeholders to address shared industry challenges, such as the energy transition, infrastructure modernization, and the inclusion of underrepresented communities.
The event will feature an international audience composed of representatives from Member States, United Nations agencies, multilateral organizations, and aviation industry leaders. Its holding in Montreal, the permanent headquarters of ICAO, reaffirms the city's position as a hub for global dialogue and cooperation in civil aviation.
With “Global Horizons: Inclusive Innovations for Aviation,” ICAO invites us to imagine a more connected, resilient, and accessible future of aviation for all.
