IHG opened a record number of rooms in the first half of 2025 and has celebrated key milestones over the past year, including the opening of its 4,000th hotel in the United States, its 800th hotel in China—marking the company's 50th anniversary in the region—as well as record openings and signings across EMEAA. With a strong growth outlook, IHG maintains solid momentum, with a development pipeline of more than 2,200 hotels that will increase its presence in high-growth markets globally.
