Organized by Tourism Cares in partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the event will take place in two striking settings — cosmopolitan Bangkok and the lush province of Krabi.
The proposal goes beyond a simple conference: it is a selective and immersive experience, bringing together tour operators, consultants, journalists and association leaders to exchange knowledge, learn about sustainable initiatives and experience firsthand the positive impact that tourism can generate.
A journey between conversations and experiences
The itinerary combines strategic dialogues with on-the-ground experiences. In the morning, participants engage with communities that are changing their future through tourism; in the afternoon, they immerse themselves in educational sessions and opportunities for sharing ideas.
This is the essence of the Summit: bringing travelers closer to those who live in the destination, creating bridges that sustain local economies, preserve cultures, and care for the environment.
What it means to be an Impact Partner
The term Impact Partner identifies organizations or initiatives selected by Tourism Cares for promoting tourism experiences aligned with principles of positive impact — social, environmental and economic.
To receive this designation, the partner undergoes an assessment that verifies criteria such as sustainability practices, cultural preservation, animal welfare, and child protection. These projects, when included on the Meaningful Travel Map, gain global visibility, integrating a network of change agents in the responsible tourism sector.
At the Summit, visiting an Impact Partner means getting to know a project that has already been validated and recognized for its effective contribution to the community and the environment.
