The 37th edition of Festuris – Gramado International Tourism Fair was officially launched this Tuesday (12) at an event held at the Caldeira Institute in Porto Alegre. The launch was accompanied by a performance by the Cambará Harp Orchestra. With the theme "Reimagining Tomorrow," Festuris 2025 will take place from November 6 to 9 at Serra Park in Gramado, bringing together business, high-level content, and strategic connections.
With more than three decades of history, Festuris Gramado maintains its mission of connecting brands, destinations, and people, consolidating its position as the most effective tourism business fair in the Americas. In 2024, the fair brought together more than 15,000 professionals, 2,700 exhibiting brands, and 53 international destinations, generating approximately R$480 million in business. The expectation for 2025 is to surpass these numbers.
With a 98% audience approval rating, the event also stands out for its eight content stages and its extensive media reach, with more than 500 accredited press professionals.
In 2025, Festuris will celebrate 10 years of the Luxury Space, an exclusive area dedicated to brands and experiences focused on high-end tourism. Established as a benchmark in the sector, this space annually brings together national and international names, promoting high-quality networking, sensory activations, and trend curation.
"At each edition, we strive to deliver more results to the market. Festuris is recognized as a strategic business environment where important decisions are made and alliances are forged. In 2025, we hope to further expand that impact, connecting high-level professionals in an environment conducive to generating concrete opportunities," says Eduardo Zorzanello, CEO of Festuris.
The launch was attended by authorities, tourism industry leaders, and media professionals. Also present were Ronaldo Santini, Secretary of Tourism of Rio Grande do Sul; State Representative Joel Wilhelm; Simone Stulp, Secretary of Innovation, Science, and Technology of the RS region; Fernanda Barth, Secretary of Economic Development, Tourism, and Events of Porto Alegre; Luia Barbacovi, Acting Mayor of Gramado; Ike Koetz, President of the Gramado Council; and Rita Vasconcelos, Administrative Vice President of Abav/RS. The event was also attended by Valerio Caruso, Consul General of Italy in Rio Grande do Sul.
Rescue of the tourist identity
The Hortênsias Project, an initiative that seeks to revive Gramado's tourism identity with a focus on strengthening local hospitality, was presented at the ceremony. Inspired by the city's symbolic flower, the project has a cultural and educational focus and plans to launch activities in Gramado schools starting in 2026. Students will be invited to participate in activities such as talks, technical visits, and meetings with industry leaders, reinforcing the role of tourism as an economic, social, and cultural driver for the region.
"The hydrangea represents much more than beauty for Gramado. It symbolizes the beginning of a transformation, when the city began to position itself as a tourist destination. With this project, we want to pass on that legacy to future generations, involving schools, the community, and local entrepreneurs," emphasizes Marta Rossi, CEO of Festuris.
