Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Traveler's Choice 2025 #1 Attraction in the United States

This accolade places the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex at number 1 in the United States, surpassing iconic landmarks like the Empire State Building, and at number 3 worldwide, behind only the Sagrada Familia and the Eiffel Tower.

“Our visitors have always been our top priority,” said Therrin Protze, director of operations for the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. “We are thrilled that families and explorers alike are enjoying the journey we offer our visitors, from past missions to future frontiers. We are constantly looking for ways to evolve and improve our visitors’ experience, which is why this summer we opened The Gantry at LC-39, situated among the most iconic launch pads in space exploration.”

The Gantry at LC-39 is accessible via the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour. It offers 360-degree panoramic views of the active launch pads and the surrounding wildlife refuge, a full-scale rocket engine that comes to life during a simulated static fire test, complete with thunderous sound, dazzling lights, and fog, interactive exhibits including a Rocket Build Interactive for virtually designing and launching rockets, and a state-of-the-art Earth Information Center, showcasing NASA's efforts in monitoring the planet through immersive imagery and interactive media.

Space Shuttle Atlantis®: View the orbiter at a spectacular 43.21-degree angle, explore simulators, and pay tribute to Challenger and Columbia in the “Forever Remembered” exhibit.

KSC Bus Tour: Hop aboard a bus to relive Apollo-era launches and get an up-close look at the massive Saturn V rocket at the Apollo/Saturn V Center. And new this summer, stop at the historic LC-39 launch tower (The Gantry at LC-39) for a history lesson and to build a rocket.

Astronaut Training Experience: Try out missions using multi-axis chairs and Mars base simulators.
