Since its first flight on August 15, 2007, the airline has been a fundamental pillar of regional connectivity, facilitating tourism, trade, and cultural ties between Córdoba and more than 90 destinations in the Americas through its Hub of the Americas in Panama.

Over the past two decades, Copa Airlines has consolidated its presence at Ingeniero Ambrosio Taravella International Airport, offering residents of Córdoba and travelers throughout the region an efficient and convenient gateway to a vast network of destinations in North America, Central America, the Caribbean, and South America. The airline has distinguished itself for its punctuality, world-class service, and convenient connections, becoming a preferred choice for thousands of passengers each year.

Copa Airlines' operations in Córdoba have significantly contributed to the province's economic and tourism development. By offering direct and efficient connections to its hub at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, the airline has positioned Córdoba as a strategic point in the regional air connectivity network, attracting visitors and fostering trade.

“Today we're not only celebrating 18 years of operations between Córdoba and Panama, we're also celebrating thousands of stories, reunions, opportunities, and dreams that have flown with us. What began with just three weekly flights has now grown into more than 17 frequencies connecting the people of Córdoba with more than 90 destinations across the continent. We're proud to continue being the bridge that unites Córdoba with the world, through our Hub of the Americas in Panama,” Lorena Gasser, Domestic Sales Manager for Argentina.

Copa Airlines reaffirms its commitment to Córdoba and Argentina, seeking to continue strengthening connectivity and contributing to the region's growth. Therefore, starting in January 2026, it will add a frequency, reaching three daily flights, with a total of 21 departures per week. The airline looks to the future with the vision of continuing to serve as a bridge between Córdoba and the rest of the continent, always offering the best travel experience to its passengers.
