Regent Seven Seas Cruises®, the world’s leading ultra-luxury cruise line, has announced the farewell season for Seven Seas Navigator®, marking the final chapter for this beloved ship with a trio of commemorative voyages taking place between August and October 2026.
Leaving a legacy of elegance, discovery, and exceptional service, Seven Seas Navigator has sailed the seas as part of The World's Most Luxurious Fleet® since 1999. The farewell season will honor her journey with nostalgic onboard celebrations, surprise appearances, heartfelt tributes, gala dinners, artifact auctions, themed trivia, and interactive discussions. Seven Seas Navigator's season will culminate with an emotional final voyage on October 2, 2026, hosted by Chief Commercial Officer Wes D'Silva. This special sailing will also mark the retirement of legendary Cruise Director Ray Solaire, who spent 18 memorable years with Regent.
Other voyages this season include an Epicurean Spotlight Voyage with the talented culinary team led by Bernhard Klotz, Vice President of Food and Beverage, and a very special Reunion Cruise featuring some of Regent’s most iconic former crew members, including Captain John McNeil and Davor Josipovic, General Manager. Also joining will be Mark Conroy, Founding President, who led the company for more than two decades, from 1992 to 2013. Under his leadership, Regent achieved significant milestones, including fleet expansion to four ships and the acquisition of Seven Seas Navigator, laying the foundation for the leading ultra-luxury cruise line it is today.
“Since her maiden voyage in 1999, Seven Seas Navigator has embodied the timeless luxury and personalized service that define Regent Seven Seas Cruises,” said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “As we celebrate her extraordinary career, we are also proud to honor Ray Solaire, a beloved member of the Regent family whose legacy will live on for guests and crew alike.”
A natural entertainer with a great sense of humor, Ray discovered his passion for entertaining in his hometown of Blackpool, England. What began as a children's puppet show grew into a career spanning stage, screen, and sea. After studying opera and voice at the Brighton Academy of Music in England, Ray brought his talents to the world of cruising, first as a headliner and then as a cruise director in 1975. Over the years, he has shared the stage with some of the world's most celebrated figures, from Count Basie to Charlton Heston. Since joining Regent Seven Seas Cruises in 2007, his warmth, charisma, and commitment to the brand have made him a true legend to guests and colleagues alike.
