From September 24-26, 2025, Belize will host the Beyond Blue Summit, the first national event dedicated to diving and marine conservation. This international gathering will bring together certified divers, sustainable tourism leaders, conservation experts, and content creators to explore and protect one of the planet's most valuable marine ecosystems: the largest barrier reef in the Northern Hemisphere.

Over three days, attendees will experience something beyond traditional diving. The program is divided between afternoon "Deep Dive" sessions, where key conservation topics are presented in a relaxed atmosphere, and immersive marine explorations in the morning, with guided dives at iconic sites such as The WIT, an artificial reef in Turneffe Atoll, and the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, renowned for its coral restoration and biodiversity initiatives.

In addition to connecting participants with experts from the Ministry of Blue Economy and associations such as Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Turneffe Atoll Sustainability Association, the Beyond Blue Summit offers a unique platform to learn, collaborate, and tell authentic stories about the future of responsible tourism and ocean protection.

The event will take place at Sunset Caribe Belize, San Pedro, and Ambergris Caye, and is open exclusively to certified divers with valid credentials from agencies such as PADI, SSI, NAUI, and others. Those wishing to experience this unique experience can book the Beyond Blue Package, which includes three nights of accommodations with daily breakfast, domestic transfers from the international airport to San Pedro, and two guided dives. All diving equipment, refreshments, snacks, and lunch are included. The package costs $1,289 USD per person (double occupancy).
