London, UK, August 2025 – Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) unveiled the Wellbeing Collection , a selection of 15 luxury boutique hotels offering experiences designed to foster rest, reconnection, and resilience. The offering centers on the idea that wellbeing is not just an additional service, but a lifestyle reflected in the environment, design, and hospitality of each property.

In parallel, SLH released the findings of The Restless Traveller Report , a survey of 6,000 adults in the UK, US, and Australia conducted by OnePoll. The study revealed that 72% of participants reported feeling tired, while 60% felt that modern life prevents them from achieving true rest. However, 89% agreed that travel is an effective tool for overall well-being, and 49% noted that destinations linked to nature are the most restorative.

The Wellbeing Collection responds to this need for transformative experiences, offering options ranging from forest bathing, cultural rituals, and traditional healing therapies to nutritious cuisine, personalized fitness, and sophrology practices exclusive to SLH Club members.

Richard Hyde, Chief Operating Officer of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, emphasized that the collection was designed to “highlight those hotels that offer genuine hospitality in serene settings, where it is possible to immerse oneself in experiences based on nature, local culture, and educational programs that provide balance and enrichment.”

The 15 member hotels in the collection are spread across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. These include Acro Suites in Crete, with energizing therapies and cuisine overseen by Michelin-starred chefs; eriro in the Tyrolean Alps, with a minimalist and unstructured approach to wellness; FORESTIS in Italy, with Druidic practices and organic food; and Castle Hot Springs in Arizona, where mineral springs and outdoor activities combine with creative therapies.

The properties in the Wellbeing Collection have been endorsed by SLH Wellbeing Experts, including spa editor Susan D'Arcy and sophrologist Dominique Antiglio. This discipline, practiced in Europe for over six decades, combines breathing, gentle movement, visualization, and meditation, and will be available exclusively to SLH Club members through the BeSophro app.

With this proposal, Small Luxury Hotels of the World reaffirms its position in the independent luxury sector, offering hospitality experiences that transcend the conventional stay and seek to have a lasting impact on emotional, physical, and mental health.
