Belo Horizonte (MG) – Travel Next Minas concluded its 2025 edition with figures that confirm its consolidation as one of the leading tourism exhibitions in Brazil. Held at Expominas, the fair welcomed 7,186 visitors, a 40% increase over the previous year, and featured the participation of more than 600 exhibiting brands from 13 states.

The event's creator and director, businesswoman Rúbia Coser, emphasizes that the goal is to expand responsibly.

"On the one hand, we had the support of the Ministry of Tourism, which included Travel Next on the national calendar; on the other, sponsorship from Visit Portugal and TAP, which consolidated our international presence. Achievements like these are good for business," said Coser.

Sustainable growth and quality in selection

For Coser, the growth strategy involves curating exhibitors and balancing the domestic and international markets. "We want to expand, but without sacrificing quality. It's crucial to bring in companies that truly offer content and are prepared to generate business," he explained.

Innovation and gamification as differentiators

Innovation was at the heart of the program, with a focus on gamification, which encouraged travel agents to discover new products and services.

“In addition to encouraging exploration of the fair, gamification helps to improve the event, making the experience more dynamic,” Coser said.

Another highlight was Travel Lux, a space dedicated to luxury tourism, which grew from 12 to 21 exhibitors in 2025.

Content and training on multiple stages

Travel Next Minas reinforced its role as a training space by distributing lectures and panels across three themed stages.

Innovation Stage – featuring technology companies and digital solutions for agencies.

Palco Minas – focused on the state’s tourist destinations and products.

Palco Tiradentes – which brought together renowned names in the sector.

Among the highlights, lawyer Marcelo Oliveira addressed legal issues, while content creator Luciano Palumbo shared sales strategies. Specialist Thiago Akira reinforced the potential of niches in digital marketing. The closing keynote was given by journalist Renata Ceribelli, with a talk on longevity and the job market.

Minas Gerais in the spotlight

One of the most symbolic moments was the launch of Uai Wine – the Winter Festival of Minas Gerais Wines, which will take place from August 28th to 31st at Palácio da Liberdade. More than 20 wineries will represent the state's 124 producers, who currently occupy 436 hectares of vineyards.

For Coser, this initiative reinforces Travel Next Minas' mission to highlight local tourism assets:

"A significant portion of Brazil's cultural offerings is found in Minas Gerais. Our role is to reveal to the world the state's religious traditions, nature, and unique cuisine."

The future of the event and Brazilian identity

Coser also highlighted the importance of Travel Next for Brazil's international projection. According to the businesswoman, the fair is already seen as part of the global tourism calendar and needs to showcase the country's cultural and gastronomic diversity.

"It's not just about offering dulce de leche, but also about showing where it comes from, how it's produced, and the whole story behind it. It's this added value that we want to highlight," he concluded.
