Mexico City, August 2025 – In the most recent edition of the Trazees Awards 2025, organized by the international publication Global Traveler, Posadas was recognized with two awards that consolidate its leadership in the hospitality industry. The chain won the “Favorite Hotel Chain in Mexico” award for its Fiesta Americana brand, while Enrique Calderón, vice president of operations, was recognized as “Best Hotel Industry Leader.”
The Trazees Awards annually recognize the most influential destinations, airlines, hotels, and leaders in the tourism industry, based on votes from young travelers and specialists between the ages of 25 and 40. In this edition, the jury highlighted Posadas' commitment to innovation, quality, and guest service, attributes that have positioned it as a benchmark for new generations of travelers.
The ceremony took place in Beverly Hills, California, where Enrique Calderón received both awards from Francis X. Gallagher, CEO and founder of Global Traveler, who underlined the group's relevance in the region:
"Enrique Calderón has overseen the successful expansion of Fiesta Americana's travel team to more than 200 hotels in Mexico and the Caribbean, as well as the company's growth in various destinations, consolidating its role in international tourism," Gallagher noted.
With more than five decades of history since the opening of its first hotel in 1970, Posadas has distinguished itself by sustained growth and maintaining a standard of excellence that underpins its global recognition.
This achievement reflects the company and its management team's commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and the service that characterizes each of its properties, consolidating Posadas as a key player in the evolution of the global hospitality industry.
