Guests can also test their skills in Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit, an activity taking place throughout the resort and requiring the purchase of a map to locate Disney-themed pumpkins at both locations and in the Downtown Disney District. The prize is a very special souvenir.

In the Downtown Disney District, guests can enjoy more fall fun with festive decorations, exclusive food and beverages at select locations for a limited time, and entertainment. New this year, Wednesdays from September 24 through October 31, 2025, will be movie nights on the Downtown Disney Live! stage. A candy cart will be available for guests to purchase.

Numerous collections, including the Mickey Mouse Family Halloween Collection, are available for purchase. Guests can tuck into autumnal offerings throughout the resort, such as bulgogi potatoes and fried corn on the cob.

Halloween experiences at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort include a baking showcase at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, themed treatments at Tenaya Stone Spa, a new Disney Villain-themed cocktail menu at the Broken Spell Lounge at the Disneyland Hotel, and special treat trails for hotel guests on select evenings.

Beginning August 22 and for a limited time, the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort are offering character experiences in their dining venues. At Storytellers Cafe at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, guests can enjoy Mickey's Autumn Adventures Breakfast Buffet and the new Clarabelle's Enchanted Halloween Dinner. Additionally, Goofy's Kitchen Celebrates Halloween returns to the Disneyland
Hotel.

Plaza de la Familia pays tribute to the Day of the Dead
Disney California Adventure Park presents Plaza de la Familia, a thrilling celebration that honors the spirit of Day of the Dead through music, food, art and stories inspired by Pixar Animation Studios’ “Coco.” Through November 2, 2025, guests can enjoy live music at the Paradise Gardens Bandstand, themed arts and crafts, colorful décor and a menu celebrating Mexican cuisine at the Paradise Garden Grill. The new Disney Pixar Coco Collection, launching in early September, will offer new apparel, accessories, hats and more, all inspired by the film.

Guests can sing and dance along with “The Storytellers of the Plaza de la Familia Celebrate the Musical World of Coco!” in a street performance celebrating the eternal bonds of family. After each performance, they can pose for photos and make new memories with Miguel, who comes to life as a dimensional animated figure. Frontierland at Disneyland Park also pays homage to Día de los Muertos by adorning the area near Rancho del Zócalo Restaurant with marigolds and papel picado banners, as well as other decorative pieces typical of the ofrendas.
