The Mexican Ministry of Tourism announces that two traveling international tourism promotion events will be held from August 25 to 28 in Chicago, United States, and Toronto, Canada. Various Mexican entities, the Mundo Maya Group, and national companies will participate in the events, aiming to present unique, attractive, and fascinating products and generate business connections that will strengthen Mexico's position in its two main source markets.

Representing Secretary of Tourism Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, the head of the Tourism Innovation, Sustainability, and Professionalization Unit, Miguel Aguiñiga Rodríguez, will meet with the Consuls General of Mexico in Chicago and Toronto, Reyna Torres Mendivil and Porfirio Thierry Muñoz Ledo, respectively, as well as with members of the Mexican-American and Mexican-Canadian communities. It ranked second in the Americas and fifth worldwide among countries visited, according to UN Tourism.
