Hilton plans expansion in Argentina
Hampton by Hilton Buenos Aires Leloir Park, whose inauguration is scheduled for 2021, represents the second development of the Hampton by Hilton brand in the country
Hilton by Hilton, the high-end brand of Hilton (NYSE: HLT) and leader in that group, today announced the signing of an agreement for the development of its second Hampton by Hilton hotel in Argentina, the Hampton by Hilton Buenos Aires Leloir Park. The owner and developer of the 72-room hotel, whose inauguration is scheduled for 2021, is Romay Desarrollos Inmobiliarios. The hotel will be part of the mixed-use Thays Parque Leloir complex and will include two swimming pools, a gym, spa, convention center, shops, residences and a variety of restaurants.
"Argentina is one of the main tourist destinations in Latin America. It is expected to attract more than six million travelers this year and remains a focal point for our regional growth plans, "said Fabián Rodríguez Suárez, general manager of development for the Southern Cone of Hilton. "We currently have five hotels under construction in Argentina and we are looking forward to introducing our Hampton by Hilton brand in Greater Buenos Aires."
Located on Avenida Martín Fierro and Calle del Cielo, almost 13 kilometers from El Palomar Airport and 40 kilometers from Ministro Pistarini International Airport, the Hampton by Hilton Buenos Aires Leloir Park hotel will offer guests easy access to the restaurants and entertainment venues of the area, in addition to the opportunity to visit one of the largest protected ecological zones of the province.

The rooms at Hampton by Hilton Buenos Aires Leloir Park will include high-definition TV screens, free movie channels and a coffee maker. Guests can also take advantage of value-added amenities such as the lobby bar, 24-hour business center, free Wi-Fi, free hot breakfast or On the Run ™ breakfast bags (available Monday through Friday) for travelers in constant movement.
Currently, Hilton has a portfolio of more than 130 hotels and resorts that are open and operating in the Caribbean and Latin America, including three hotels in Argentina. The company also has a solid development plan for more than 80 hotels throughout the region, including five hotels under construction in Argentina.
