On the day of yesterday, July 25, the Howard Johnson Hotel Abasto was officially opened in the city of Buenos Aires. With the assistance of the Minister of Tourism, Gustavo Santos and the authorities of the hotel chain, Alberto Albamonte, its president and Sofía Tuachi, the President of the establishment, the traditional ribbon cutting was carried out.
The hotel is located in the district of Balvanera, just 4 blocks from Corrientes Avenue and Abasto Shopping, near the center of Buenos Aires, whose attractions include the Casa Rosada, the Teatro Colón, the historic Plaza de Mayo and the Cabildo , among others.
A few minutes away, there are Palermo and Recoleta neighborhoods, both houses history, culture and nightlife, highlighting places such as the Rose Garden, the Japanese Garden, the Soho district, the Planetarium, the Palais de Glace, the Malba Museum, among many other tourist spots in the city.
