New tourism projects in the Dominican Republic will provide 979 new rooms
The Caribbean destination continues to increase its hotel capacity. A total of six new ventures have been submitted to the Tourist Development Council
A total of six new real estate tourism projects that have been presented to the Tourist Development Council (Confotur) of the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic (Mitur) will add a total of 979 new rooms to the inventory that exists in the country.
These six projects are joined by a new hotel that has provisional classification and that will add another 300 new rooms, so in total there are 1,279 rooms of projects that were registered in September in Confotur
These real estate projects are: Cana Rock Star Condos, the project that has more rooms in plans to develop; 653, located in Punta Cana; La Cotorra Eco Living, 32 rooms in Constanza; Vibe Residences Dominicus, 180 rooms, Bayahibe; Paseo De Cocotal, 36 rooms, within the Cocotal Golf & Country Club, in the tourist area of Bávaro. It belongs to the Arena Gorda-Bávaro environmental unit; Residence Apart Hotel Cala Luna, 30 rooms in Las Terrenas and the extension of Cana Rock, which will add 48 rooms in Punta Cana
As mentioned in these six projects, the Cosón Resort Casino and Spa Boutique Hotel has 300 rooms in Las Terrenas.
