Ángel Gallego will lead the corporate segment of Amadeus
Helping companies to better manage corporate travel and expenses will be Gallego's mission in this key segment of the Travel Channels business
Amadeus announces today that Ángel Gallego has been named Executive Vice President of the corporate segment of Travel Channels, being effective immediately.
With the corporate segment identified as one of the strategic priorities of Travel Channels, it will be Gallego's mission to help corporations around the world to promote smarter corporate travel.
Recently, Gallego was an advisor to Aerticket AG, consolidator of air tickets based in Berlin, which was looking for a strategy of international expansion. In addition, he served as the Advisory Board Member of Daka90, the leading online travel agency, and Mobile Travel Retailer in Israel. He also held different positions as an advisor and was a member of the board of directors in other companies that cover the electronic commerce, biotechnology, energy and fashion industries.
Gallego, who previously spent 15 years at Amadeus, had held various leadership positions as President of Asia Pacific, Vice President of Distribution at WEMEA and Director in Latin America. During that time, he developed an intimate knowledge of Amadeus, which will be key to his new role.
