Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Best Day Travel Group receives the CNET Award
The Ing. Julián Balbuena Alonso, has been recognized for his tourism leadership during 2018. The award was instituted in 2011 to promote the positive impact in the tourism field of committed personalities
The Ing. Julián Balbuena Alonso, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Best Day Travel Group, leading tourism corporation in Mexico and one of the leading companies in Latin America, was awarded the CNET Presence for Tourism Leadership 2018, within the framework of the XVIII Congress International Tourism CNET.
The Presea was presented to Ing. Julián Balbuena in recognition of his remarkable trajectory and leadership within the tourism sector, as well as for his successes in positioning Best Day Travel Group nationally and internationally, as well as for his achievements as an agent of change in matters of social commitment and altruistic work.

The inauguration ceremony of the Congress was chaired by Mr. Enrique de la Madrid Cordero, Secretary of Tourism of Mexico, Mr. Pablo Azcárraga Andrade, President of CNET, Dr. Cipriano Sánchez García, Rector of Universidad Anáhuac, Vice Presidents of National Tourism Business Council, as well as representatives of the chambers and associations of the tourism sector.
The National Tourism Business Council (CNET) is the most important body that represents companies in the tourism sector in Mexico. It is composed of 15 chambers and associations that includes all branches of the sector, with national scope, which represent 90% of the country's tourism activity, whose purpose is to form a common front of exchange and negotiation.
The CNET Presence for Tourism Leadership was instituted in 2011, to recognize and promote the positive impact in the tourism sector of personalities committed to this sector in Mexico, being the first to receive it, the entrepreneur Eduardo Sánchez Navarro, and consecutively the winners they have been: Arq. Miguel Quintana Pali, Mr. Antonio Cosío Ariño, Mr. Juan Beckman Vidal, Mr. Francisco Madrid Flores, Mr. Ángel Losada Moreno and Mr. Alberto Torrado Martínez.
