Hotelbeds launches its corporate volunteer program globally
The program is already underway at the company's headquarters in Palma de Mallorca, where its more than 1,650 employees will be able to collaborate with around 20 local NGOs
Hotelbeds, the world's leading bed bank, today announced the global launch of its Corporate Volunteering program.
The initiative, which is part of the corporate sustainability plan of Hotelbeds, aims to encourage all of the company's employees to actively participate in volunteer opportunities around the world, with the purpose of contributing significantly in the communities where employees of Hotelbeds work and live.
Around 50 NGOs from around the world can benefit from the Hotelbeds Corporate Volunteer program. The participating NGOs cover the following areas: environment, health, people at risk of social exclusion, poverty and childhood.
The program has recently been launched at the company's headquarters in Palma de Mallorca, where more than 1,650 employees will be able to collaborate with around 20 local NGOs, such as the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), the Red Cross, the Balearic Association of People with Physical Disability (ASPROM), Mallorca Sense Fam, among others.
The volunteer program has also been implemented at the Hotelbeds offices in Bangkok, Beijing, Cancun, Dubai, London, Orlando, Shanghai, Singapore and Tel Aviv, reaching a total of 3000 of the 5000 employees the company has worldwide .
Many international NGOs such as Give Kids the World or United Against Poverty in Orlando; Waterways Watch Society in Singapore; The Thai Red Cross or the Lumphini Park in Bangkok, and Food for Life in Tel Aviv, among many others, can benefit from the contributions made by the company's employees.

At the moment, more than 150 volunteer activities have been organized around the world in which more than 1000 employees have participated.
