The traditional Barra Hotel is again a reference in the Rio industry. As of December 17, the venture will be renamed "Wyndham Rio de Janeiro Barra"

Barra de Tijuca, one of the most important areas of Rio de Janeiro, which has the glamor of beaches and lagoons, gathers many of the shopping centers of the city and offers various options of gastronomy and leisure, will have again its most iconic hotel as a reference in the hotel. The 17 of December will begin its operations Wyndham Rio de Janeiro Barra, located in the famous Avenue Lúcio Costa 3150.
The novelty is the result of the partnership between the Twin Towers Barra Condominium, owner of the venture, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the largest hotel franchise company in the world, and owner of the Wyndham upscale chain, which has more than 30 hotels in Latin America. The management of the establishment will be in charge of the Twin Towers Barra Condominium.
The Wyndham brand hotel is located in major urban destinations and resorts, providing comfort and unforgettable experiences thanks to the offer of personalized services and quality amenities. Wyndham is present in major international destinations such as the United States, several countries in Europe, Argentina, Canada, China, Colombia, Panama and Peru.
In Latin America, there are 32 hotels of the brand, four of them in Brazil: Wyndham Pratagy Beach Resort, Wyndham São Paulo Berrini, Wyndham Foz do Iguaçu and Wyndham Gramado Termas Resort & Spa. The latter will open this month and stand out for being the first venture directly managed by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts in Brazil. In South America, the network has been running hotel management for 15 years.
"We are very happy to open Wyndham Rio de Janeiro Barra because besides knowing that we are granting the franchise to one of the most iconic hotels in Rio de Janeiro, we are bringing one of our premium brands to the city, which is a source of great pride and happiness "This is the certainty that Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is doing well in supporting the hotel industry in Brazil," said Alejandro Moreno, President and CEO of Latin America and the Caribbean.
"Our focus has always been on partnering with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, as the network has a large number and variety of hotels as well as brand excellence. It is the largest hotel franchise company in the world, and by partnering with it I am sure that our hotel will once again become a world reference ", celebrated Ricardo Feital, one of the investors of the hotel. The executive is part of the Council of Representatives of the hotel pool. Another of the recognized investors that forms part of this venture is the businessman Fernando Martins, trustee of the Twin Towers Barra Condominium.

Wyndham Rio de Janeiro Barra has two towers that are divided into a hotel with 292 rooms and a residence that has 324 units. For guests, the hotel offers rooms in three sizes ranging from 42m2 to 90m2. All have a balcony and ocean view of Barra da Tijuca beach, recognized for being one of the best in Rio de Janeiro.
The location is one of the great benefits of the hotel. The avenue where the venture is known is a bohemian area, full of restaurants and bars, particularly attractive to tourists.
The hotel has a modern event center with seven meeting rooms for up to 400 people and a leisure area with restaurant, bar, four swimming pools, sauna, gym and spa, all to meet the needs and desires of the guests.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is the hotel company that has grown the most in the last ten years for its strong positioning in consistent products and services, state-of-the-art hotel technology, distribution, since they are in all places where they should be, and Wyndham Rewards, the most generous and award-winning loyalty program on the market, which currently has 59 million members.

For the beginning of the operations of the Wyndham Rio de Janeiro Barra was a revitalization that lasted 18 months. In this first phase, changes were made in the rooms, such as carpet replacement, improvements in the air conditioning system and leakage repair. "Now all the rooms are extremely comfortable and functional," said Ricardo Feital, noting that there will be more investments and modifications that will be announced after the high season. "All will be in Wyndham's standardization.
