According to the figures provided by OAG, after analyzing 57 million flight records made by 250 airlines, between January 1 and December 31, 2018, Copa Airlines recorded the highest rate of punctuality in the industry at a level global, with 89.79%, becoming the first Latin American airline in history to receive this important recognition, according to the OAG.

FlightStats also awarded Copa Airlines punctuality, recognizing it as "The most punctual airline in Latin America" ​​for the sixth consecutive year, with the best punctuality indicator in the world. This result arises from the monitoring of some 120 thousand flights per day, operated and served by hundreds of airlines and airports. The selection was based on analysis of flight status and arrival data from more than 600 world sources, including civil aviation authorities, airports and third parties.

These recognitions reaffirm that punctuality is the hallmark of Copa Airlines par excellence, an aspect that has been valued for many years by both international organizations and passengers. "We are committed to offering the highest levels of punctuality in the world and meeting the needs of our passengers, who rely on Copa Airlines on a daily basis to reach their destinations on time," Heilbron concluded.

Copa Airlines currently operates an average of 350 daily flights through the Hub of the Americas, the hub of connections with the most international flights in the region, located at the Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, and from where it connects 80 cities in 32 countries of North, Central and South America and the Caribbean.
