Dazzler and Esplendor hotels reach occupancy level close to 100% in Uruguay

In this context, the hotels Dazzler, Esplendor Montevideo and Esplendor Cervantes, belonging to the largest hotel company in the world Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, reached high levels of occupancy in their facilities, located in Punta Carretas and Centro, two of the neighborhoods preferred by tourists.
In the case of Dazzler, the end of the year party filled its capacity, reaching 100% occupancy. Almost half of the visitors came from Brazil (45.43%), while Argentina came in second (30.95%) and the United States (4.1%) in third place. The first half of January, meanwhile, the occupation there was 80% and it is expected that the month ends with higher results than the same period last year.
In addition to being in privileged places of the capital, close to the centers of tourist interest, and having comfortable rooms, the establishments have spaces for outdoor relaxation, such as terraces and pools, amenities highly valued when choosing where to vacation . At the same time offer the possibility to enjoy without being hosted in their facilities, with proposals only for the day, which means a plus for those who come for a short time and seek refreshment and have a good time.
"This year the main visitors were the Brazilians. During this time, they usually travel as a family and choose Dazzler not only because of the location but also because of the outdoor pool on the terrace. We are one of the few hotels in Montevideo that has this service, "said Lucia Razquin, general manager of Dazzler by Wyndham Montevideo.
Razquin explained that the hotel also received many foreign students who come to Uruguay to pursue the MBA in Business Administration at nearby universities during the summer.
In the same vein, Gonzalo Aguilera, general manager Esplendor by Wyndham Cervantes, explained that the hotel reached peaks of 93% occupancy so far this year, highlighting group tours and family arrivals from Brazil.
In the case of Esplendor by Wyndham Punta Carretas, January began with 53% of Brazilian tourists, 22% Argentines, 5% Uruguayans, 3% North Americans and 2% Chileans.
