The next edition of FIEXPO Latin America, which will take place in Santiago de Chile between June 10 and 12, will mark the farewell of this country, completing three successful calls that had a constant growth year after year, leaving an invaluable legacy for the market of meetings and incentive trips in Chile.

As it was done last year in the city of Concepción, in this opportunity the Pre Workshop will take place in the Chilean Patagonia, where an important group of Invited Buyers will travel to know in situ the infrastructure and services of this region, besides having the opportunity to hold meetings with local entrepreneurs.

This Workshop will be held between June 7 and 10, prior to the Fair in Santiago, whose guests will be carefully selected based on the potential of the destination and the requirements of authorities and entrepreneurs in the sector.

As is the characteristic of FIEXPO Latin America, the exchange between buyers and exhibitors, both in the pre-scheduled meetings and in the instances of networking or social events, constitute an affable environment for mutual knowledge, which results in the development of trust staff that then moves to future business.

Prior to the fair and as usual for more than five years, on Monday will take place the Latin American Political Forum on Meeting Tourism, an event that attracts more and more interest from the continental and extra-continental political class, as was the participation last year of a delegation from Barcelona, ​​composed of Mr. Christoph Tessmar, Executive Director of the Bureau of Conventions, Mr. Joan Torrela, Director of Tourism and Mr. Agustí Colom, Councilor for Tourism, Trade and Markets of said city

Likewise, the participation of several State Ministers and high-level government authorities related to the tourism sector was highlighted, as was the case of the representatives of Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Paraguay, Uruguay, as well as other delegations. represented by members of several convention bureaus and ambassadors accredited in Chile.

Of course, the Chilean delegation, hosts of this event, was present with its top exponents, such as the Minister of Economy, Development and Tourism, Mr. José Ramón Valente and the Undersecretary of Tourism Mrs. Mónica Zalaquett, as well as high governmental and different agencies of the capital and the different regions of the country.

For this year, the expectations are even greater, attracting the interest of several delegations that are already confirming their participation to be part of the maximum continental event at a public-private level specialized in meetings tourism, business trips and incentives, a market that Each time it is taking a greater role as a means of foreign exchange income and creating jobs for Latin American countries.

The Fair itself, which reiterates its headquarters in Casapiedra in the city of Santiago, is already reaching its maximum limit in footage for exhibitors, because many countries are increasing the number of meters in their stands and pavilions, as a result of the success of the businesses generated in previous editions that affects the sum of participating companies in each country.

This reality also becomes a challenge for the organizers, since FIEXPO Latin America maintains its commitment to convene a number of Guest Buyers (Hosted Buyers) that is in direct relation with the exhibitors, in order to generate two days of meetings of business for all involved.

According to what was expressed on several occasions by the directors of FIEXPO Latin America, Arnaldo Nardone and Sergio Baritussio, "the success of FIEXPO lies in the success of the meetings, in the generation of real business for the exhibitors who bet on our proposal as a genuine option of contacts with directors of professional associations and companies, who seek new destinations, venues and services for the realization of their events. The guarantee that FIEXPO offers in the quality of its Invited Buyers is the guarantee that the exhibitors have of generating business. And this is reflected year after year with the increase in demand and the international projection of the Fair".

Of course the training instances are not minor and have an avid public of the exchange and to know the new tendencies globally, reason why the alliance that FIEXPO maintains with ICCA - International Association of Congresses and Conventions - is fundamental, where The members of this Association have top-level educational institutions that also share with the local public. The designation of FIEXPO Latin America as the "Association Relations Partner" of ICCA, exclusively for Latin America, is just one example of the strong relationship between FIEXPO and the maximum Association of the world market of associative congresses.

Since its first edition, twelve years ago, the organizers of FIEXPO Latin America strived to achieve a goal that has been achieved over time: create a business, work, social, but also exchange and camaraderie, in short, establish the Meeting Market Week for Latin America and the Caribbean.

And with this objective, meetings of associations of the sector have been propitiated, facilitating the means so that the directive boards of these entities also have their space. But it also encourages the participation of the most important continental and global entities through various activities that benefit international and local participants, such as the different seminars, such as IAPCO - International Association of Professional Congress Organizers-, SITE South America, ASAE -American Society of Association Executives-, etc.

For its part, the appointment of FIEXPO as exclusive continental organization for the delivery of the Iceberg Award to events highlighted by its legacy to the community by JMIC -Joint Meeting Industry Council-, is also a point to be highlighted.
