WTM Latin America WTM Latin America 2019 opens visitors registration
The 7th edition of the show takes place at the Expo Center Norte in San Pablo. The novelty is that accreditation is integrated into social media, which makes the visitor's registration faster and more agile
The main global event of the tourism and travel industry in Latin America inaugurates the sector's agenda and brings to the city of São Paulo 600 exhibitors representing around 50 countries and an average of 12,000 professionals from the tourism industry in Latin America and the world.
Among the novelties of this edition is the new identity of the travel agent program, developed in partnership with the Interamerican Network. Called "Agent in Travel", the program offers an interactive mobile application, which classifies and rewards travel agents through a healthy and fun competition, in addition to providing more interaction among the nearly 700 travel agents - all from Brazilian states- and the exhibiting operators at the event.
Another novelty of the Latin American edition is the Women in Travel program, which is already carried out in WTM London, WTM Africa and ATM (Arabian Travel Market) and comes to the Latin American edition with the central objective to guide, through content and personalized mentoring, the entrepreneurial professionals who act in the market and invest in their careers. The project is directed by Alessandra Alonso, founder of the homonymous social enterprise.
In 2019, WTM Latin America repeats successful activations by maintaining the International Pavilion, a space that gives the opportunity to be part of the event to private companies of small and medium-sized ports, originating from different destinations.
The Inspire Theater also remains with a series of presentations and debates around the tourism sector and varied topics taught and discussed by speakers and strategic panelists. Experts from the sector will talk about news, innovations and innovations in the segment, as well as promoting a relevant reflection on current industry issues.
The issue of Responsible Tourism also remains on the agenda, in addition to innovations in the technological field, with names that are a reference in the market.
The identity of WTM Latin America is also complemented by the Speed Networking Sessions, a successful event that facilitates contact between buyers and exhibitors in a short space of time, and with the WTM Buyers' Club, a business club for senior executives of the travel industry.
Likewise, the Corporate Tourism program continues with a strong presence in this edition, once again, with the exclusive area, but enlarged, which allows hosting more activities of the sector's allies.
The event already has several confirmed national and international destinations, as well as private sector allies, lodging facilities, tour operators, airlines and car rental companies, among other sectors.
