2019, year of growth for the Bahamas
The Caribbean destination has participated last week of CHTA Marketplace in Montego Bay. There is great optimism about what may happen in 2019
Bahamas has once again participated in the CHTA Marketplace, the event organized by CHTA and held last week in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Its main authorities have traveled to be present and to interact with buyers and entrepreneurs in the sector.
Bahamas is starting the year on the right foot, a new seasonal flight from Chicago to Nassau operated by American Airlines has been announced. It departs from Chicago O'Hare Airport on Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. and arrives in Nassau in time for lunch on the beach at 12:45 p.m.
Another important novelty is the opening of a hotel, this is the Margaritaville Resort Bahamas, which will open in 2019. The complex will have 150 rooms and 150 residences facing the sea, of which 100 will be part of a private port. Amenities include a 45-slip marina, a private beach with cabanas, the St. Somewhere spa, movie theater, outdoor stage and the LandShark water park, where there will be an aquarium, a diving pool with a blue hole, a tower Slides, an infinity pool, surf simulator and a tropical island. There will also be a series of food and beverage concepts from Margaritaville that will offer extensive Caribbean and international cuisine.
