The group reaffirms its commitment to expand its presence in the country, with the debut of the Dreams Resorts & Spas brand in the iconic beach destination

AMResorts®, an Apple Leisure Group® (ALG) brand, today announced the signing of a new agreement that will take the Dreams® Resorts & Spas brand to the legendary port of Acapulco.

Alex Zozaya, CEO of Apple Leisure Group, made the announcement this morning during a press conference attended by Miguel Torruco, Secretary of Tourism of Mexico, Hector Astudillo Flores, Governor of the State of Guerrero, Ernesto Rodríguez Escalona, ​​Secretary of Tourism of the state of Guerrero, and the Municipal President of Acapulco, Adela Román Ocampo.
The Grand Hotel Acapulco & Convention Center, undoubtedly the most emblematic and recognized of the port of Acapulco, will go through an ambitious remodeling project to meet the requirements of the Dreams® brand. The famous hotel is located on the Icacos beach of Costera Miguel Aleman, in Acapulco, Guerrero. With this agreement, AMResorts will expand its presence in Mexico by operating more than 30 hotels in various destinations in the country.
"As the first Mexican tourist destination recognized internationally, Acapulco has played a leading role in the development of the national tourism industry. "With this announcement we also reaffirm our commitment to Mexico, to promote tourism at the national level and not only in the busiest destinations in the country. Dreams Acapulco Resort & Spa will open its doors at the end of 2019 and will offer 605 rooms and suites, seven restaurants, four bars and lounges, and a spa. The hotels will offer the Unlimited-Luxury® concept of the Dreams brand, where everything is included: gourmet restaurants, 24-hour room service, concierge, unlimited premium drinks, daily refilled mini-bar, day activities, live nightly entertainment, taxes and tips included - all without bracelets. The Dreams hotels offer a high level of luxury for couples and couples with children, in exceptional scenarios facing the sea.
