Major resorts in Brazil meet with operators in MATCHER
The event takes place May 28 and 29 in Fortaleza and promotes an opportunity for tourism operators of different nationalities
With the objective of stimulating and promoting the sale of Destino Brasil, MATCHER promotes an opportunity for tourism operators of different nationalities to conduct business with tourism suppliers and Brazilian destinations at an event to be held on May 28 and 29 in Fortaleza (Ceará) , considered the new gateway for international visitors in the country.
Among the participants are some of the most important Brazilian resorts. So far, 13 members of the Brazilian Association of Resorts (ABR), including Iberostar Bahia (Praia do Forte - BA), Nannai Resort & Spa (Porto de Galinhas - PE) and Royal Palm Plaza (Campinas - SP), already they signed up and are preparing to meet with about 120 buyers from more than 20 countries interested in knowing and buying products from Brazil.
"The participation of these lodging facilities, which are among the most important and qualified Brazilian resorts, confirms the business generation potential of MATCHER and, together with the professional quality of the already registered buyers, gives us the confidence that we will be expanding and improving lasting relationships between Brazil and international companies interested in sending tourists to this destination, "says Jeanine Pires, director of MATCHER. In addition to hotels and resorts, several local receptors, DMCs, destinations, theme parks and a variety of tourist attractions were also registered to the MATCHER.
The dynamics of the event includes suppliers and buyers relating first in a digital way, through the "match making" tool, and, in May, in face-to-face meetings scheduled in accordance with previously identified business interests.
MATCHER has Gol, Air France and KLM as sponsors, Beach Park and Nettour as allies and the support of the Brazilian Luxury Travel Association (BLTA), Tourism Secretariat of Ceará, Unedestinos and the Brazilian Association of Resorts (ABR). Other Brazilian and foreign airlines are also allies to bring buyers from several countries and for the displacement of Brazilians who will attend as suppliers.
